A promising forecast rapidly deteriorated into what was the lightest most controversial race yet. Chris Draper lead all the way till the finish line when he got passed by Japan’s Hiroki Goto. 7 of the 79 sailors in the Gold fleet were able to finish in time leading the way into the controversy as to why the RC ever started the race in the first place.
